Line returns in WooCommerce emails.

    Just wondering if it is possible to insert line breaks in translations; specifically for text strings that will be used in WooCommerce templates?

    Returns seem to be retained in the plugin but stripped out in email previews. I’ve also tried <br> and \n but both are simply rendered as text.

    Say What? doesn’t place any limits on what you can add to the replacement. However, whether that is useful will depend on how the translated string is used. Commonly the string will be escaped, or cleaned before use, so that’s probably what you’re seeing here.

    Ah, I wondered if that would be it. Damn – was hoping to avoid overriding templates.
