Linebreaks disappears in comment editor

  • When wp-markdown enabled for comment, if I “quick edit” a comment from wordpress comment moderation dashboard, all line break gets removed.

    Same happens when I open comment in full “Edit” mode.

    Same happens for bbPress topics & replies.

    I am using Mac (unix). Saw some code to handle Unix line endings but couldn’t figure out my way.

    Will look into this. I imagine that there could be a problem with ‘quick edit’, and did not think to test that part. I did test the full edit mode, but that was a while ago…

    For bbPress edits, are they edits from the front-end or back-end (both?)

    I am using Mac (unix).

    .. could be a factor, I’ll keep that in mind :).

    For bbPress, I tried edit from front-end as well as back-end.

    I will do testing from a Ubuntu and a Window box to check if it has something to do with OS.

    I suspect the issue might be from one of libraries you are using.
