Lingering folder after uninstall

    Hello. I recently installed Elementor on my site to test something, then uninstalled it soon after. The site still has an elementor folder in wp-content/uploads (screenshot). Why is that?

  • Hi Carl,

    The Elementor folder will remain in order to maintain your content and design in case you have uninstalled and reinstalled Elementor and wish to continue working from the same point.

    You can remove this folder if you wish to remove Elementor completely.

    Hi David,

    OK thanks for that. But can you give me a brief, simple example of what sort of content/design is saved in this folder? For example, if I uninstall Elementor, then delete the folder, then re-install Elementor, what might I lose?
