    Hi Taylor,

Loving your plugin but one gripe I have is that re-posted blog posts are reliant on the origial author including a link-back to their own site.

Those that don’t include their own link-backs cause the Feed-Pulled version to effectively create orphan posts with no clear reference to the originator’s site.

I’m running an aggregated/curated news site which includes a number of re-posts from other community sites. I want my site posts to automatically include a prominent link back to the original post.

Really all it needs is to take the original post URL (often ‘link’ or ‘guid’ fields in RSS) and create a “Continue reading….” link.

    Possible?

    Thanks!

    Ben

    Hey Ben,

That is definitely possible. You could map a field to the original link, save that link in post meta, and using your theme display the link.

However, doing this is outside of the realm of this plugin and really in theme world.

Let me know if you have anymore questions.

That’s great – will try that.

By the way, if you were to describe Feed-Pull as a curation tool (which it effectively is) you’d get loads more people using it.

Feed-Pull has allowed my to do in WordPress what I was previously doing in Scoop.it

    Thanks for the suggestion!
