Link Button missing in forum

A while back the link button on the visual tab disappeared from the forum.
If you go to my forum you will see there is no URL/link button in the toolbar.
But it is selected in the settings and oddly it does appear in the WP press post page.

Any idea why it is not showing in the forums?
The other buttons are fine.

It took ages but I finally found a solution. All I did was redownload WordPress and replace the tinymce folder. Inside of the root directory at wp-includes/js/ there is a folder called tinymce. Find the folder in the newly downloaded WordPress folder and replace the existing tinymce folder. This fixed the problems I was having.

Thanks for the additional info @villarreallevi. It appears this issue is unrelated to the WP Edit plugin. I’m glad you found a fix!
