I’m working on a new theme, but I’ve encountered a problem I have never experienced before (and it has been over a year since I last made a wordpress theme.

For the Headers (like the title of the post/page) it doesn’t look like what I have in the CSS for <h1> or <h2>, but appears as a hyperlink instead.
The same goes for the “Leave a Comment” and “Uncatagorized” areas. Instead of looking how I want them to, they look like and of the traits of the normal link, not what I stylized them to be.

I’m not sure what the problem is, whether it’s the CSS or the way I have it set up?? Help is greatly appreciated! ??

Unless you provide a link to a page demonstrating the problem, no one will be able to offer much in the way of specific help.

Oh sorry, here’s the link: https://schoolhouse.everimagine.net/

This: “Lorem ipsum December 2nd, 2010 · No Comments · Uncategorized” is the issue.

The other issue I’m having is with where it says: “Logo”. It worked fine in HTML until I uploaded it as a theme.

You have a missing closing </div> tags that might cause you some problems: validation report

when you moved this site from the wp folder to root, do you follow the instructions in Moving_WordPress or Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory? You seem to have some path errors.
