This problem has occurred on two different sites I manage.

The link embeds (where you paste a WordPress post/page and get a nice preview) no longer work in Chrome in 5.7.

The embeds display the proper preview in Safari — both on a Mac and an iPhone.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Try disabling all extensions in Chrome.

Yes, it’s still a problem with no extensions. Chrome 89 in Windows 10.

This page, like my LeanBlog page that I linked to originally doesn’t display the preview properly in Chrome.

It’s a problem in Chrome on an Android (no extensions).

The same problem exists in the MS Edge browser.

Disabling Chrome extensions didn’t work here (Version 89.0.4389.114 (Official Build) (64-bit))

Looked into this issue some more. The issue seems to be WordPress isn’t updating the style of the “wp-embedded-content” class in edge and chrome after the iframe is loaded. You can manually remove the style with javascript and the embed will show. Thought that is not ideal. It seems like an event isn’t being triggered to do this adjustment as I’m not seeing any errors on the console. Hoping they will fix.

Thanks, glad not only one experiencing this.

If the issue you experience is similar to this Ticket, then it will be fixed in 5.7.1
