When using the TA button in Beaver Builder’s rich text editor (tinyMCE) to add affiliate links, everything is fine until I go back into the post after publishing to make an edit. The moment I click in the Rich text editor to alter anything, all links (internal, affiliate and image links – not external links though) change from absolute to relative.

If I disable the link fixer module, this does not happen.

If I keep the link fixer module enabled and insert an affiliate link manually (not with TA button), the global options are not respected, e.g. rel=”nofollow” and target=”_blank” is not inserted. Links remain absolute but I have to manually insert nofollow etc.

Do you have any suggestions in this regard, other than disabling link fixer. I’d like to keep it active in case of a prospective broken link.

  • Hi @wolfman66,

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having incompatibility issue with the Link Fixer module and Beaver Builder editor.

The Link Fixer should automatically update any broken links on your posts/pages, especially when you make changes on the link settings.

However, if this conflict happens, I’m afraid that you’ll have to disable the Link Fixer module and manually update the links on your posts.

I could raise this issue to our developers but we can’t guarantee nor provide an ETA for the integration with Beaver Builder at the moment.

I apologize for any inconvenience. Let me know if there’s anything else that I can assist you with!

    Hi,

I am facing the same issue but with “Thrive Architect” Page Builder. After saving any changes with the builder some links for some component on the page get corrupted.

After disabling “Link Fixer” Module, this didn’t happen.

Kindly assist as the module can help a lot instead of the manual work, and it is almost essential to have page builder these days.

    Regards,
