    I investigated, and this doesn’t seem like a valid complaint. That credit link does not display by default, you have to specifically enable it by turning on the “Display protection information” checkbox in the settings screen.

    If you don’t want that link, turn off that checkbox. Because it defaults to off after installing the plugin, it’s allowed in our directory.

    Hello thejaman,

    As Samual mentioned, the link is purely optional. Many popular plugin do this. Even WordPress as a CMS do this, the insert a follow link in every installation. There is nothing wrong in this. It is Open Source / Free world, and that’s the essence of it.
