• I am finding that the link div for the featured image of my implementation is not over the image. I don’t think I’ve made changes to the page in such a way that this would be moved – I only edited header, footer, and style.

If you look, the title of the article links, but the picture only links in around the top-left quadrant.

    bump.

Comparing the rendered code to bog-standard czr shows that something is changing your HTML.

    <a entry-title-primary"="" title="<span class=" href="https://www.joefessenden.com/2014/10/30/actions-passions-and-abstinence/" class="round-div no-effect">Actions, Passions, and Abstinence <span class="entry-subtitle">The sad state of sex education today - and how to fix it</span>"></a>

    <a title="Standard Post with Sticky" href="https://www.customizr.dev/standard-post/" class="round-div "></a>

Did you try the Plugin Test? Deactivate all your plugins, test. If OK, then re-Activate each Plugin one-by-one to find the culprit. Let us know which one if I’m right.

Thanks for the info. I have disabled the plugin that was causing the extra code you saw. Now the code is (I think) consistent with the standard.

    <a class="round-div no-effect" href="https://www.joefessenden.com/2014/10/30/actions-passions-and-abstinence/" title="Actions, Passions, and Abstinence"></a>

I have not done the plugin test. I wanted to see if you can offer anything else before I do just because I know that test is pretty time consuming when there are a lot of plugins in play (and, in the past, it has included some features having to be reconfigured for plugins that don’t remember what I was doing with them).

If you think that’s still the way to go, no argument. I’ll give it a shot. Just wanted to check in there first.

Yes, you still have the problem so I’d suggest you bite the bullet.

There’s no obvious css customisation you’ve made, so I’d reckon there is a plugin css/javascript causing it.

You weren’t planning anything better this weekend were you? ??

Just spotted you’re using Jetpack Photon which has been causing others problems today. Try removing that first.

WIN! It was Photon. Thanks for that catch. I just got my weekend back. ??

Do we know anything about the underlying cause for the error with that? I kinda would like to have that bandwidth help by loading from the WordPress servers.

Photon did in fact fix it, but that thread just directs me to update Jetpack. Since I have Jetpack already up to date, I think that we need to look in the theme to see what is causing it.
