    Users are not seeing the option to cancel their registration (action=booking_cancel) from their registration management page for most events. After troubleshooting, it’s clear that the cancel capability is available to all users and the deadlines for modifying registration (“available from” and “available until”) are not the issue.

    In particular, this seems to occur when an event is created using the duplicate event feature. After updating all the event fields and saving the event, it will not be possible to users to cancel after they register. But if we simply go back into the event admin page, open the event for editing, and choose “Update” then the cancel option will appear for the user. At least, that is as far as I’ve been able to isolate the issue.

    This manual “fix” is not terrible, but it is an extra step for creating dozens of event entries each week. Also, this never before was a problem.

    EM Version 5.9.7.1 and WP Version 5.3.2

    To allow users to Cancel Bookings, You could set a My Bookings Page under Events > Settings > Pages > Other Pages.

    Thanks. We do have a “my bookings” page and often the cancel link appears for the attendee. But under some circumstances, the cancel link does not appear. I’ve gone as far as I can to isolate when this happens (summarized in my original post) but I can’t tell why.

    just to confirm, is this happens almost to every one of your subscribers or this happen randomly?

    Yes, angelo_nwl. We have experimented with multiple users and they all won’t see the Cancel option on their registration management page for an affected session. Not all sessions are affected, but when a session is affected it appears to affect all subscribers the same.

    By default, users cancel their booking before the event starts or if the booking is not yet rejected or canceled or using option events > settings > bookings > general option > can users cancel their booking?

    Angelo_nwl, we have enabled the option for users to be allowed to cancel. Often, the cancel option appears for the user. When cancel does not appear, it is not because the event is past or canceled.

    Also, this site has been operating for several years (through various plugin and WP core upgrades) with no such issue with cancel not appearing for the user.

    Sorry, we are having some hard-time replicating this issue; can I know if you are able to try EM 5.9.7.3?

    Hi, I have exactly this issue, so I don’t think it is resolved for me. If I create an event by “Duplicate event”, when a user books and then tries to cancel that event the cancel link does not show. When I then edit and update the event it does show. This appears to be for multiple users, but not all. I’m running EM 5.9.7.3 and EM Pro 2.6.7.2. We are using it to manage numbers for Covid-19, so it is important to us. Any suggestions?
