Link image to page images positioning

  • Hi bunch of geniuses I hope some of you will be able to help.
    I’m re-designing my current website using wordpress and I got a bit stuck with these issues.
    Basically I want to insert 2 images side by side, each one linked to a different page like in here: https://clorinde.org/images.htm

    1) I’m not able to have the 2 images placed next to each other
    2) I haven’t figured out how to link those pictures to relative pages

    Please show me the light! I will be very grateful.
