Link image to post from main page when using Image format

Hi all,

I am currently setting up a website using Pinboard and am very happy with the theme so far. The one thing I have not been able to figure out is how to get images to link to the actual post rather than to the image file. I was able to dig up this old post, but the solution there does not seem to be working for me.

Specifically, the website is bachgifs.com, and I am trying to get the gifs on the main page to link to the actual post (with comments and everything).

Has anyone else been able to accomplish this? I would imagine it is fairly common for people to want their images to link to the post. Appreciate any help!
