Link in Subscription Form Not Working

I went into GDPR, settings and created ‘id:privacy-policy’. The Policy Page is set as the link I’ve given. And the long and short codes are set to ‘You have read and agreed to our < a > Privacy Policy < / a >’ with no spaces. But the check box under the email subscription form on my website doesn’t link to the Privacy Policy page, and I just wanted to check how to fix that? Thank you in advance!
