    I want to add some sites to my sidebar I like and want to recommend to other readers.
    Using the Text-Widget does not work, cause typing

    <center><a href=”https://www.smallfryblog.com”><img border=”0″ src=”https://www.smallfryblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/sfbutton.png” /></a></center>

    makes all links (the external going link and the img-link) to

    www.fraukleinkariert.at/”https://www.smallfryblog.com” and
    www.fraukleinkariert.at/”https://www.smallfryblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/sfbutton.png”
    which of course is not working.

    Having a look at my source code everything seems to look ok:

    <a class="widget">
    <h4>What I like</h4><br>
    <div class="textwidget"><p><center><a href=”https://www.smallfryblog.com”><img border=”0″ src=”https://www.smallfryblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/sfbutton.png” /></a>

    Any suggestions whats going wrong?
    Switching the Theme didn′t solve it neither deactivating all plugins…
    Thanks for your help
    Tina

    Found it myself.
    The site said copy and paste the code and the ” where all wrong, so it didn′t work!
    Having a look here at the last code i provided, I noticed, that the ” next to widget was different from the ” used for the link url!
    thanks
