Link is opening twice

    Hello, and thank you for your really nice plugin.

    The only problem I have, is that my linked pdf files are opening twice.
    I have multiple image galleries on one site embedded into an accordion. All the images are linking to a pdf-file. If I click on an image, i get two new tabs in my Browser with the linked pdf…

    I’m using Gallery Custom Links (1.0.7) and the latest WordPress Version (5.1)

    Would be nice, if you could help me! ??

    Can you make sure you are using the very last version? It is 1.0.8.

    Thanks, ok I did.
    Same problem. But I found out that it only happens in Firefox.
    Safari, Chrome and on my iPad it opens just once. Strange, why Firefox is opening twice. First Firefox told me about blocked popup Windows, altought it had already opened the pdf once. Now since I allowed Fierfox to open popup windows on this site it always opens twice the linked pdf.

    I had a look into your HTML, but it’s totally fine. I have no idea why Firefox tries to open a popup, this is not on my plugin’s side, it seems like another plugin might be trying to do this kind of linking ??

    Ok, thank’s for looking! ??
    I just found out.

    It’s the iThemes Security Plugin. If I deaktivate it everythings fine.

    Now I found the responsible setting. In iThemes Security under “WordPress Tweaks” i had checked “Protect Against Tabnapping”. If I uncheck this option, everything works fine.
