    Hello,

I use Link Library with the latest version. I also use WP-to-Twitter to send a tweet for new article, new sites, new uploads and of’ course new links.

For several weeks, I was able to set the correct option at WP-to-Twitter. At the moment, that isn’t possible. It seems to me, it break during one update of Link Library.

According to the developer of WP-to-Twitter/Joe Dolson:

I don’t know exactly what Link LIbrary used to do, but I can see that in its current version the post type it uses is not marked as ‘public’ – WP to Twitter only picks up public post types to provide formatting tools. There are a lot of private post types in use in most sites that are not helpful to see in editing.

I can see that the plugin has all its specific attributes for posts being public in the public mode, but it doesn’t actually have the ‘public’ attribute, so it’s getting the default value for that attribute – which is false.

I don’t know what other changes might have happened, but that’s preventing you from tweaking the settings.

    Please for help.

    regards, Andyt

Hi Andy. I was getting a lot of complaints from users about the custom post type for Link Library being public by default, since it means that links would show up in search results. So instead I added options under the Global Options section of the plugin admin to set the type.

Check the options called ‘Individual link pages can be seen by visitors’ and ‘Links appear in search results’ and you should be able to use the links with your other plugin as you did before.

    Hello,

Thank you for your fast response.

I enabled both options, but both didn’t help me. Nothing changed or does it need several time for process?

I’m still not able to set “Link Library” options in the options of “WP-to-Twitter” like before.

Please update to latest version I just pushed out and you should be able to see the Link Library options in WP-to-Twitter.

Thank you for your help. In the newest version I find the Link Library at WP-to-Twitter.

Is it still necessary to use ‘Individual link pages can be seen by visitors’ and ‘Links appear in search results’ or does the new version use different method for display?

I will think about the donation at the next opportunity.

Yes, both of these options should be checked in order for WP-to-Twitter to recognize the custom post type from Link Library.
