Hi Christian,
place the header.php file in your child folder and do some HTML modifications so the logo is linked.

Find <div class="site-branding"> and replace it with:

<div class="site-branding"  onclick="location.href='https://www.yoursite.com';" style="cursor: pointer;">

Replace https://www.yoursite.com with your URL.
