Link not showing up on post

    I’m having a problem getting a link to show up on my wordpress page. I go to html editor,click the link icon,a box pops open where I can enter the url and title,I’ll enter that info and click add link,the link then gets displayed on my post,when I hit update and then go to view the page the link is there…. Can anyone help me with this issue?
