I’ve always set URLs without “/” at the end.
In the SEO settings, the canonical URL is displayed by default without the “/”
But this does not change in <link rel=”canonical” href=”****************/” />

    Hi,
We automatically add a slash at the end of each url, this allows a very slight gain in performance.

    Hi,
I’m sorry, it seems this creates duplicate pages in Google and Yandex

I’ll try to explain the problem more
I set up the canonical URL in WordPress without the “/”
I installed 301 redirects to the URL without the “/”
Now Yandex removes pages from the search, because they are not canonical
Google says there is a duplicate of meta and points to both versions of the URL

In permalink options, what’s your setting?

    /%postname%

In the source text of the pages they are displayed without the “/”
“/” At the end of the URL only in meta

OK, I’ll add, in the next update, an option to manage this.
    Thank you for your feedback.

With SEOPress 1.8.2, in Advanced settings page, advanced tab, you can now manage this ??
