link rel=profile not SSL compliant

  • I have changed the default web URL to be https://example.com and the warning appears that the site is hosting something that is not SSL compliant.

    There is a link in the head section of wordpress,
    <link rel="profile" href="https://gmpg.org/xfn/11" />
    that is the only http link left on the page.

    I tried visiting https://gmpg etc. but that does not have an SSL certificate.

    So please can you:
    1. tell me how I can remove this?
    2. tell me who best I should notify that there should be an SSL version of this page.

  • If there is no SSL certificate on the site, you can’t retreive an SSL version of the page.

    Email the owner of the site and ask them to set up an https version of the site.
