Link Source To Author

  • Not a problem, but a feature request. When I fill both the Author and the Source fields (Source with a URL), they are both displayed under the quote, the Source as a hyperlinked URL. I would much prefer that the URL would be used to hyperlink the author. Or at least that there’s a choice.

    I’m working around this now by building an A HREF in the Author field, but that’s involved and inconvenient. Also, the plugin clears attributes from the A tag, so I can’t even add my TARGET=_BLANK (I want external links from my site to open in new tabs).

  • I’m also searching the same solution. I’d like he name of the author is an hyperlink to the source.
    The best idea (you told it) would be a “radio button” for the admin. I searched it at first, and I discovered the option did not exist.
