On Chrome and Edge browsers some of the links do not have underline. Screenshot can be seen here from the Twenty Sixteen theme preview. Has anybody else seen such behavior or can have some explanation for this?

On Firefox underline is present for all links.

Hi there @robineero – interesting find!

I haven’t been able to replicate this on my test site running Twenty-Sixteen. On both Chrome and Firefox, links in post content are always underlined. Here’s a screenshot from Chrome, for example:

Were you able to replicate this on your own site, or are you just seeing it on the demo?

I even tried to replicate this by activating the Classic Editor plugin, to simulate a site created before the existence of the block editor, as the Twenty-Sixteen demo was – but I still see all the links underlined:

I have been using Twenty Sixteen a lot over the years and I started noticing this behavior like months ago on my websites. For example on this website (screenshots).

I thought that I have messed something up with customizations but it also appeared also on an unmodified version of the theme. And now I noticed it also on the demo.

It may be something wrong with the browser but I have this issue also in Chrome on my phone and as it also appear on relatively clean Edge browser – so maybe it is not just me and my browsers ??

Hi @robineero I have been checking the theme’s demo and I can see that some links have an underline and some don’t.

Just to confirm, the links without the underline on your site used to have it?

@thelmachido Great that I am not the only one. I belive my case is the same as with the demo site – links without the underline on my site used to have underline (as they were supposed to) until they did not.

Hi @robineero If in the past the underline was there but you can’t see it now I would suggest creating a trac issue below:

Let me know if you would like some assistance to work on this

@thelmachido Thank you for your concern. Somehow the issue has just disappeared from my websites as well as from the demo site which now displays correctly.

That’s odd, but I’m glad the issue’s gone away!

I’ll mark this thread as resolved, but feel free to start a new thread for other questions.
