    Hi there,

Currently I am finalizing the main elements of my website lay-out. Now I am struggling with two elements of the styles of my links

    1. In Styles > Typography I set the appearace of Links to Semi Bold. This since I want the links in my posts to stand out and look like this, and the same for the clickable post titles on archive pages/homepage. However, after I did this, also the links in my menu’s in the Header and Footer are bold now. But I don’t want them to be bold. I tried to change this in the template parts, but it doesn’t work… How can I make sure the links in my menu’s won’t be bold when the rest of the links should be?
    2. How can I change the size of a specific link to a bigger size? For example on my homepage in the section Top Categories, I use the “cover” element to put text in front of an image. On the text I put a link, but I want this to look bigger. I tried to do this in Block part at Styles, and changing the font size, but nothing changes…

Hopefully someone can help me with these two questions regarding the look of my links on different sections. Thanks in advance!

Is there someone who can help with this please?

    Hi @selectedbymila,

Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.

1- This is not a bug. The thing is that menus are made up of links. So when we change the links globally, As menus are made up of links it changes that too.

If you want specific styling for the menu only then they can change it here

Go to editor -> Template parts -> header https://d.pr/i/gNCslB

2- I am not able to replicate the second issue, it is working fine for me. At the moment you have only the link so you can increase the size from the block settings. However, if you have also other text with it, you can increase the size using custom CSS code by adding the custom class to the cover block. If it is still not working, I would request you to open a support ticket from here:https://wpspectra.com/support/ so that our support dev can help better.

Hi @mohsinbsf thanks for your reply. I indeed know how to change the header so tried it that way multiple times before I submitted this ticket, but unfortunately that doesn’t work… I can change the letter case (which I did), but not the size or appearance… For me this is especially strange, since I didn’t set the color on black – this is automatically done – which doesn’t allign with the link style… But I will reach out to support, hopefully they can help me with both issues.

    Hi @selectedbymila,

Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.

I am seeing you have opened the ticket with the same issue and one of the support engineers responded, please respond to that ticket and mark this thread resolved.
