Hi,

I’ve got few questions:

1- How can I open a link in a new window with target=”blank” in thumbnail template

Hi,

Some answers:

1/ In the settings page enable the ‘New Window Link’ option.

2/ To create a link to the Reviews page change the %LINK_OPEN% to be %RLINK_OPEN%.

3/ There is an ‘extras’ enhancement plugin to cloak links but it is still work in progress I can send you a link if you want to try it. You may have to update to a Beta version of the plugin to run it though.

Links are of the form: https://www.YOURDOMAIN.com/REDIRECT_WORD/ASIN

Where ASIN is the amazon ASIN, and REDIRECT_WORD is just a string you enter on the setting page e.g. ‘amazon’ or ‘redirect’.

Hi,

I’ve not done a huge amount of testing but you can download the development version of the Amazon Link plugin from here:

https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/amazon-link.zip

Once installed go to the ‘Amazon Link>Extras’ settings page and install the ‘Redirect’ plugin.

On the Main settings page and change:
- ‘Redirect Word’ to something appropriate for you site e.g. ‘amazon_go’ (make sure it does not clash with any of your sites existing permalink syntax).
- Enable ‘Redirection Links’
- Disable ‘Link Style Shortcode’
Check your links are of the form ‘https://www.mydomain.com/amazon_go/0123456789/’ and clicking on them takes you to the write Amazon page.
