Link Target/New Window Issue

I can’t reproduce this. It must be a conflict with your theme or another plugin. Can you send me a link where it’s happening?

You can test it on any blog post on my site.

Every Sexy Author Bio link on this page (https://www.lifecoachspotter.com/success-is-not-an-elevator/) is using target=”_blank”, except for the link in your actual bio:

Your Invincible Power Company [https://www.wherethewindblows.ca/]

That particular link target can’t be handled dynamically because the description field is entered manually by the user in their profile settings.

Is there anything I can help you with regarding this?

How do I allow the use of HTML in the user profile description field?

• You can tell WordPress to allow HTML in user profile description fields by adding the following line of code to your active WordPress theme’s function.php file:
  remove_filter('pre_user_description', 'wp_filter_kses');

So do that, then you can throw HTML into that description field as needed =)
