    How to describe this!

    I would like to show an individual image on a page (a link to a picture in a particular album), that I can click to take me to the album of pictures.
    I can figure how to display the image using a shortcode, but it’s adding a link to the album.

    Is it possible?

    If your shortcode looks like:
    [wppa type="photo" photo="..."][/wppa]
    you can select a Link type in Photo ALbums -> Settings admin page, Table VI-B3: Single photo link. e.g: the content of the album

    Likewise for [wppa type="mphoto" ... Table VI-B4: Media-like (like WP photo with caption) photo link.

    Likewise for [wppa type="xphoto" ... Table VI-B4.1: Media-like (like WP photo with – extended – caption) photo link.
