• I am really hoping that this is the last time I will have to bother everyone, really!

But I am trying to link to an anchor on a page. I am trying to add the links to the buttons on the homepage and am having no success.

If I go into where you enter the links for the three content areas I can select a page to link to. But whenever I try to add an anchor to the end on the link it gets removed and just the link to the page remains.

I have tried entering the link manually using #anchor but it removes that. I have checked and all of my anchors appear to be done correctly in the source.

Is there any way to add an anchor to these links?

    Thanks for reading!
    Jim

    Hi ValleyJim,

There’s no option to add an anchor directly from the theme options panel. However, you can do this using jQuery. Is there any particular reason why you wanted to do this?

Depending on the purpose, this may affect the suitability of any jQuery we recommend.

I just have a page that I took over the responsibility for now that has several sections to it and it has anchors on it.

I was really hoping that there was a way to add the anchors to the links but if there isn’t then I will come up with something else.
