Link to another page

    Hi,

    I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong, but I have always been able to highlight a phrase and turn it into a link so that if someone clicks on it, it takes them to the new page.

    However, I am now not able to do this for a phrase or for a number of words, I am only able to do it for a single word – if I highlight a phrase, the link button is greyed out, but if I highlight just one word, I can use the link button!

    Please could you advise how this might be addressed? It seems to be a problem only recently, so I’m not sure if it’s tied into the upgrade to 3.6

  • Are you using the NextGen Gallery plugin? It has been having some significant issues with the link/unlink buttons.

    Yes, I have it installed, Josh, though I haven’t used it in some time and didn’t do the upgrade for it as I saw there were some issues though I didn’t realise it would impact on links. I will disable it and see if that resolves my issue. Thanks!

    I disabled it and my issue was resolved! Thanks so much for your help, that solution would never have occurred to me otherwise! ??
