Link to content in a tab

Is it possible to have a link from one page to tabbed content on another page? I looked around and saw that if you add # in front of tab id followed by name of tab it should work, but it doesn’t for me. Is it because the name of tab is in Chinese? Is there anyone workaround for this? Much obligedn
