• I want to sell my webinar that’s on Youtube rather than load the product onto my site. I have other products on my site I sell. In order to activate the purchase process in Woocommerce, I have to load a product to my site for it to go to the shopping cart, and there’s a standardized order email that goes to the customer. can I bypass this so that when someone clicks the BUY button for only this webinar the shopping cart will load the image, and after payment, send the buyer a unique email with the link to the webinar on Youtube?

You can add the link in the “Purchase note”, so the customer will receive it by e-mail when the order is completed.

Thank you Claudio. I’m concerned that it will go to all purchasers of all products. How can I make the note specific to only one product, and can I just load a photo for the product, since it will be on Youtube?

“Purchase note” is only shown if that product is bought.

Yes, but that’s the issue. How do I create a unique purchase note. I tried to add notes on advanced settings on product page, but it didn’t show up in the order receipt when tested – only sometimes if the page was refreshed, but not in the email sent out to the buyer.

What do you mean by unique? Unique per product, or unique per user?

Unique to each product. I see under advanced on the product page where to add a note, but it didn’t show up when tested – only sometimes if the buyer (me) refreshed the purchase confimation page, but not in the email that was generated.

The order would have to be processing for it to show. Check order status.

I did. I made a purchase, and it didn’t show up without refreshing the page

Paypal? IPN may be delayed. Enable PDT too.

    Mike,

I think @happywriter wants to send unique access link per product per order as the deals websites do. For example, take Stacksocial.com or Bundlehunt.com as examples. They sell bundles or offer giveaways occasionally. All products in their bundles are external ( and non-physical) so they simply send links or coupons to particular service providers, say, a link to register for themify’s club membership and a coupon code to avail 50% discount on Zendesk’s top plan.

Here all links or coupons are unique per product and should be shown in emails and in their orders page as well.

    I have the same question.

How to provide a single purchase receipt for each product? Because I have to provide a different code for each purchase that you make. The ecommerce is games PS3 / PS4 are accurate virtual products deliver to the user a different code for each, how to do this by buying note?
