Link to Galleries inside Album not working: 404 error

    All of a sudden my Galleries are not showing up inside Albums.

    I just tested the Gallery function on a singel page. And it works.

    But when I add an Album to a page, and I add some Galleries to that album, things go wierd.

    All the Galleries show nicely on the Album page. But when I click on a Gallery, I get an error: ‘Oops! That page can’t be found.’

    What is going on?

    hey @photocoen

    This usually happens when a page or post has been created with the same slug as the one used by albums for child galleries. In your case “gallery”.

    Do you have any pages with the slug “gallery”?

    Another thing to try is to change the Gallery Link Format to Querystring.

    I am not aware of any slugs being used called ‘gallery’ in pages nor posts.

    Everything was fine and dandy before and I just needed to update the album with a few more galleries.

    So I really don’t understand why it is broken all of a sudden.

    Now I changed the gallery link format to Querystring as you suggested… And poef… All is great again…

    The question remains, why did it happen in the first place?

    And now I need to review all my albums …. ??

    Thanks for you input anyways -> help is much appreciated.
