Link to htlm5 content & Embed Widget option

  • Hi, amazing work, congrats !
    I’ve two questions :

    1/ It could be great after entering a right code to have few options :
    – Loading the download link as it already works to download an entire release (all files)
    – But Also have the option to load a new html page, or a widget into the original web page including some HTML 5 elements as a music player (from codecanyon for exemple). Like that, users could stream and download VIP content (track by track) in a VIP area.

    2/ It is possible to embed the wordpress page in a widget ? the idea is to let the artist, label or media embeding the widget also in their own pages ?

    This is something to think about. I am not an authentication expert and for these requirements some experience in this areas is necessary. Because the current functionality work rather simple: You put the file somewhere on your server where it is not possible to access it from outside and then you stream it to the client once the code has been entered correctly.

    Securing dynamic HTML content – eventually from an external source – is more difficult if not impossible to achieve as you need to make sure that users cannot circumvent the download code validation by simply calling the source directly.

    I think we need to be much more specific what kind of content has to be secured by the plugin, where it will be hosted and all kinds of other conditions which apply.
