    How to add link to image TablePress I have an image in the table but can’t seem to add a link to it

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    The best way to add a link to an image would be to directly add the Link target URL when inserting the image. Once you chose the image in the media library overlay image, there should be a “Link target” field. Can you please try that?

    Hi Tobias

    I find that it is not possible to choose ‘open in new page’ in the link target field. So I have to: 1. insert the image 2. insert a link 3. move a little around with the html <a> code. Any way round that? I need to open a new page for most of my image links in tablepress.

    Hi Rita,

    that’s strange. I can’t reproduce this on my test sites. I assume that something is interfering on your site. Can you therefore please try again after temporarily deactivating all other plugins and after switching to a WordPress default theme like Twenty Twenty? That way, we can find what’s causing this.
