• I’m trying to work out a page or a template concept…

In some posts, I include a photo. I want to have a link or a button under that photo that goes to five or six photos related photos on their own page.

Would I do that by making a new wp “page” for every time this happens, or is there a way to make a template that I can populate with specific photos as I need them?

Is it just wp pages, or all your web links that open in new windows?

    just the web links

I mean, just the web links from your wp site, or All web links on the internet?

If you go to the “Links” tab of your admin, click to edit any of your links. Way at the bottom of that page is “target”.
_blank opens them in a new window, so maybe you want _top

where would i find that the only place i see it at is under the add a new link section and im wondering isnt that to add someone to your blog???

Before Add is Manage, the first tab under “Links”. It’ll show a list of existing links.

Edit any of them (click “edit” to the right in the list), then scroll to the bottom and look for “Target”.

I’m using wp 2.0.3 (maybe it isn’t in earlier versions).

i dont think were on the same page here.
i have the WP blog on the left side of my page and i have the side bar on the right i made my own theme so i coded it. im trying to get my lets call it “site” link to open within where WP is right now it opens a whole new window.

Well, the temporary “hello world” behaves correctly. I still think those right links have been set to open in a “_blank” window…

Something like “https://www.syck0.net/angela/contact.html” doesn’t seem to be part of the wp structure whereas your main page seems to live in a folder called “blog”. Did you make “contact” yourself or through the wp admin? If wp doesn’t think it’s part of the blog, then that might be why it’s treating it as a separate site.

Maybe Write a new post (like hello world) that you can delete later and see where it shows up.

do u mean put all my pages in the blog folder to?
