Hi, before the latest update I was able to insert the link to the privacy policy as well as the cookie policy in the banner. I think I did it by cheating and using the Imprint. But now I can’t add the link that leads to the privacy policy. Can you tell me how it is possible to do it with 6.0?

    Thank you in advance,

    Francus

    Hi @bosendorfer,

You should be able to link to the privacy policy page in the wizard, choose a page.

This should then be available on your Cookie Banner.

Hi @aahulsebos thanks for your reply, the site is in two languages ??(with polylanguage) and the two documents, cookie policy and private polycy, are custom and not automatically generated. The thing that happens is that if in the wizard in the documents “link to custom page” to the two pages in Italian, going to English the choices are canceled. And viceversa. And in any case, the privacy link in the banner does not appear in either of the two languages. some idea?

I add ,if it can helps, that in another site in one language only (Italian) I have the same problem, I can’t get the link to the privacy policy on the banner, only the cookie policy. Of course, here too the “link to custom page” has been linked to the privacy policy page, but nothing appears in the banner for the privacy.

I have the same problem on all my sites.
Only linkage showing is the complianz generated cookie policy.

Also it’s not possible anymore to have the banner e.g on the right side and the floating element on the left side (was a possibility a few updates ago)

Hi @aahulsebos I’ve tried in a local installation to update to give you some feedback.
But obviously I didn’t understand how the update had to be done.
I replaced the files marked with “allow imprint and privacy policy on cookie banner” but the site now point on Github ??

So I will wait for the official release, but in the meantime if you want some feedback please explain how the manual update should be done.

    Best regards

@aahulsebos Even with the update nothing seems to change, I can no longer make the link to the Privacy Policy appear on the banner as in previous versions.
I look forward to the official update hoping it goes better.
    Thanks again for the effort.

    Hi @bosendorfer,

I don’t think the update was in the master yet, I’m fixing an ampersand issue here, but you can see another page is now added.

    https://upgradehidden.us2.instawp.xyz/index.php/sample-page/

This will be live tomorrow morning.

    regards Aert

I am only on a single language page, but the links are also lost.
By the way it would be great to have “cookie-policy”, “impress” AND “privacy-policy” in the complianz-dialog.

As it is needed in some countries, like germany, to always have these 3 pages available. As the complianz-dialog may overlap the footer-menu all 3 pages should be directly linked in the dialog (maybe customizable in the backend?).

    Hi @volkmar-kantor,

    Thank you for your feedback.

This will be addressed in the upcoming Complianz update, which is planned for release tomorrow.

Please let me know if you have any questions in the meantime.

    Kind regards,
    Jarno

    @aahulsebos thx!
Linkage works now but the left or right display-option of the floating element would also be really great if we could get that back!

    kind regards,

    Mathias
