• Hi,

My site was down from the 18th of Dec till now. My old host tried everything to make me upgrade to an unnecessary [and expensive] hosting upgrade which I refused to and I changed hosts.

Now I was provided with a public_html folder which contained all the WordPress files like images and folders based on year and month.

I had automatic database plugin [lifesaver!] which regularly emailed me the database and so I was able to make a new database at the new host.

I created a new database and changed the corresponding settings in the wp-config.php to reflect the new database name, username, password and host.

I was somehow able to bring my site online with the help of the fantastic support staff at FatCow. I can now see my site at –

    https://clubpenguinhero.com

But, whenever I click the posts or pages or archive links in the sidebar I get a 404 error. It is very frustrating as I am not able to find what is causing it? Can someone please tell me why is it happening?

Any help will be greatly appreciated…I’m ready to provide access to the site given the person is trustworthy.

    Regards,
