link to update to go to front-end

    a user creates and updates events thru the frontend but when they go to the events list (the public events list), while being logged in, and select the event they created, there is a edit link that takes them to the wp admin update event page.
    I want them to go to the frontend.
    Is this possible? Can the link be user base so an admin user will go to the admin console but a event manager goes to the frontend?

    otherwise, can this be removed?

    did you mean the wordpress [Edit] link? also, maybe you can try to use the frontend management pages at events > settings > pages > other pages > front-end management pages > Edit events page
