    What profile? WordPress doesn’t have a forward facing profile for authors by default. However, you can customize your content-author.php template any way you’d like.

    I was talking about a buddypress profile for example, or to add a link per user.

    I don’t know how to get a buddypress profile link, nor do I understand what you mean by “add a link per user”.

    In content-author.php you have access to the global $user variable, so the user id is $user->ID. You can add any content to your customized version of this template.
