Link with featured image

    Hi,
    I’m using the Bam Theme and I’m really happy with it.
    There’s only one thing I can’t figure out. When I share a link of a post (e.g. Whatsapp) it only shows the Icon of the website and not the featured image of the post as preview.
    Is this a pro feature only?

    Hi Daniel,

    That is not a Pro feature. Sometimes it does not recognize the featured image by Facebook and WhatsApp. There are few reasons for that. One of the most common reasons is having multiple images set in the og:Image tag where your featured image is smaller than the other images. Please share your URL with us to check what is going on.

    Hello,

    this Plugin worked for me: OG — Better Share on Social Media
    And this custom CSS code: .post-thumbnail { display: none;}??

    Now the featured image is only shown in the links as a preview.
