Thank you. I have installed the plug you suggested.
A lot of information, twists and turns and some questions here. I trying to be detailed in case it sheds some light on what might be the hang.
FFM seems alright but it missing the orange graphic associated with RSS. At least as far as I can see in the “picnic” example site (above) that widget has the orange graphic. Also, the FFM has an external ad website built into the interface that shows up as WPF – and links to a WordPress plug in developer’s site. Am I stuck with that?
In past evenings I downloaded a plugin that showed up with the title RSS in Appearance – Widgets. I dragged this RSS Widget to the Sidebar. The graphic / icon seems to be the same the three orange half circles for FFM on the FFM info page – yet the FFM is not showing any orange circle graphic when it actually appears on my page.
When I installed the FFM after receiving your reply the RSS I had previously installed “short circuited” – it no longer appears on my page. Poof!
The last few nights the RSS was showing up in the sidebar of the Thea theme by Theme Alley. That seemed alright. Now it seems to have jumped to the very top of the page, well above the sidebar, and almost centered. It doesn’t respond to me dragging the widget lower or higher in the list of Sidebar widgets.
I just learned what an RSS and a feed was in the last few days. I’m not sure what the “end goal” is supposed to look like.
What is the goal of an RSS feed? How do I know if it is working.
AS mentioned above, my example is this site:

If I click on RSS a new page opens and it is a sort of summary in a sort of old school font. Is this a feed.? How do people subscribe to this feed for example? I read something about Feed Readers?
How do I update my feed / auto send my posts to my feed and know that it is in fact working.
Whoa!
Thank you.
