It’s not broken, you just can’t create a fixed URL for all possible Linkedin profiles.

    1. Switch to advanced view
    2. Go to “Advanced” tab
    3. Mark the checkbox “Edit social network URLs”
    4. Click on “Update advanced settings”

Then go to the tab “Networks” and you’ll be able to edit the whole URL. Find the text “Customize your Linkedin profile URL” and enter the following:

    1. Replace username with mycompany
    2. Replace URL with https://linkedin.com/company/[:username]
    3. Save the settings

And then the social sticker for Linkedin will generate the following URL:

    https://linkedin.com/company/mycompany

    Cheers.

Thank you for the super fast response, and excellent plugin. Your instructions worked.

    Cheers

I’m having similar problems with Yelp and Foursquare. I simply dont know what to do to link these pages together. Why cant it just be a hard link?

    Thanks

Hi, I’m sorry but I am having the same LinkedIn problem and I am not understanding your direction.

    When you say:
    1. Replace username with mycompany
Do you mean literally type in the word ‘mycompany’ so it should look like this: https://linkedin.com/company/%5B:mycompany%5D

    2. Replace URL with https://linkedin.com/company/%5B:username%5D
Do you mean where it says :username I put my company name so it would look like this: https://linkedin.com/company/%5B:meyerbennettcreative%5D

And should I be typing this stuff in the first field or the 2nd field or both?

I would really like this to work and I literally have typed in options for 3 hours and nothing worked. Frustrated ??

    Thanks

I think this screenshot should help you how to enter your data:

The whole URL can’t be seen, but you use this one:

    https://www.linkedin.com/company/meyer-bennett-creative

    Cheers.

Hi, I’m sorry but it is still not working. I still don’t think I must be entering the correct info in the correct fields. This is what I have entered:

In the top field I have:
    https://www.linkedin.com/company/meyer-bennett-creative

In the bottom field I have:
    din.com/company/meyer-bennett-creative

I also tried leaving the top field blank and inserting just the bottom field as you sent in your screenshot. That did not work as it caused the LinkedIn to totally be removed from my page.

If you could send a screen shot on what should be on both the top and the bottom I would appreciate it. Thank you very much.

In the username section enter anything you like (it won’t get included because the second link line won’t contain the [:username] parameter which gets replaced). And then it should work.

    Cheers.

I’m sorry that does not help me. Can you please fill out both fields with the correct info and screen shot it and send back to me? I would really appreciate that.

I don’t know what you mean by the “username” section.

    Thank you.

OK Dude thanks you rock this worked.

I’d buy you the beer but your name doesn’t sound like you live anywhere near Columbus, Ohio. However, if you are around let me know we would love to buy you a beer ?? Have a nice evening and thanks.
