LInkedIn Share butto does not appear to show accurate data

The Twitter, Facebook, and Google+ all display the number of tweets, likes, and shares, but on LinkedIn logo it never seems to show any numbers. I have a post with 8 shares and for the past week the button has not displayed that number. Is this supposed to not display, or is there a way I can fix this?
