Linking 2 domains to the same wordpress?

  • Hi, i am not even sure if this is possible, i am new at wordpress and website design in ever single sense there is.

    BAsicaly my site which is currently registered and i am trying to set up right now https://www.staceyemiliou.com is my home site – it will have about me and my photography, portfolio…basically a more professional site…but from staceyemiliou.com i also want to have an eco shop which is based around my travels and my art which is kind of strange….this domain is called https://www.behindtheeyeball.com

    Basically all i want is when people visit staceyemiliou.com and they click on ‘shop’ for eample they are directed to https://www.behindmyeyeball.com – as i want to run them linked together rather than 2 totally seperate websites.

    I am hosting on Godaddy…is it possible to do this? would i have to reinstall themes and everything or is this just way too over my head!

    Depends on how you want them ‘linked’.

    MultiSite can let you run two separate sites (your home and your shop) and customize each site as you want. You’d have one user ID, but the sites would remain separate.

    Yes i want them to still be seperate just when someone clicks on say ‘shop’ the URL is behingmyeyeball.com rather than staceyemiliou.com….

    If all you want is a link to your other site in your menu, just add a link: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Appearance_Menus_Screen

    Easy peasy.

    Cool thanks seems pretty simple…i have a godaddy account with both domains with WP installed on staceyemiliou.com but not my other one- this will still work right?

    A link is a link. You can put a menu link to Twitter if you want.

    Ok so everything will still be run from staceyemiliou.com but just the link will sy my other site but it won’t be ran or directed there right?

    No, only what you have installed IN staceyemiliou.com will be run BY it.

    If the link says your other site and points to your other site then it goes to your other site. if you use MultiSite to run the other site, then that’s a different thing ??
