Linking in a page takes me to my posts

  • This is getting very frustating. Every time I try to place a link and press update from a “page” it automatically takes me to my post lists. REALLY???!!!! WTH?

    Help!

    have you tried:

    -deactivating ALL plugins temporarily to narrow down and possibly fix the problem. If the problem goes away, activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the culprit.

    -switching to the default theme (“twentyten”) for a moment by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes. The idea is to force WordPress to fall back to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific issue.

    Wow! Lots of work ahead of me. (Im newbie) Thanks so much for your help!

    I’m gonna wait til the weeknend to take this on, it’s not a deal breaker at this time. maybe it will magically fix itself by then. LOL.
