Hello, I operate a website where I write on abbreviations in the aviation world. There are many occurrences of “duplicate” abbreviations, and I want to be able to use the abbreviations as keywords as well, but I don’t know if it’s possible. I have a few questions.

How does Internal Link Juicer handle multiple of the same keyword?

Also, in the future, is it possible for Internal Link Juicer to create a page where it lists all the relevant pages with the duplicate keywords? Similar to Wikipedia’s disambiguation pages. If this is a feature I can expect in the future, is there a timeline?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @spheros

    thanks for getting in touch.

Do you mean, you have different abbreviations with different meanings? Currently, there is no possibility to have a clear insight for an application in which abbreviation belongs to which meaning. It could be reached by analyzing surrounding words and try to estimate the meaning. This is an NLP process that will need a lot of calculation resources in many cases – the Internal Link Juicer does not provide a solution for this task.

How does Internal Link Juicer handle multiple of the same keyword?

If you set the same keyword for multiple targets the Internal Link Juicer will use the first configured asset for linking this keyword.

That sounds like a very useful feature, which we did not yet have on our radar in this form. I will put this on our backlog, so we can maybe consider it for a future release. Currently, I cannot give you a schedule on that, but we take requests like these very seriously.
