Linking Podcast Series to Categories Linked Menu?

I have created a podcast series as a test (to test the plugin as well as feedburner) and both seem to work fine so far. Adding the podcast series in question to the menu also works. However, clicking on Podcasts (Under Media) in the Category Menu links to a dead page rather that revealing The Fevered Brain [series] even though The Fevered Brain is nested under Podcasts.

I have a series of questions for a possible solution. Is it possible to link the original Podcast Category to the Simple Podcasting configuration so that they would be linked? Or Is it possible to configure “Podcast Series” as a menu item directly, perhaps via CSS? Or is there another solution to all of this that is going to be simpler? At this point there is only one podcast series, but there will be others as soon as I am able to resolve the issues with the menu and setting up a few more items linking it to the side menu.

Can you help with a simple solution that is right in front of me that I obviously haven’t found yet or a workaround that would either work perfectly or something very close? Please?

Additionally, when I attempt to publish a podcast, I don’t see a way to link it to any categories in my menu. That is also an issue and I may have already indicated that above.
