Linking to a Slide?

    I’ve searched through here a few pages and searched google before asking, suprised it’s not appeared before.

    Is there a format link format for linking to a specific slide number/name/id?

    I have a thumbnail slideshow that links to the full size slideshow, I’d like the link of the thumbnail slideshow to send the user straight to the large format of the same slide first.

    Is there a way to make this happen?

    At the moment this isn’t possible yet, but it would be a very good feature. I have placed it on the project board to be included in a future release, but I’m not sure when I’ll be able to release this feature.

    That’s great news!

    Alternatively, another take on this would be a “lightbox” effect to go from low res to high res of the same image slideshow.

    Eitherway, I’m glad you like the suggestion, and I’m surprised others have not mentioned it! ??

    Indeed, you’re the very first to ask about this functionality.

    The lightbox feature is planned for the next big release of the slideshow, version 2.3.0. I’m hoping to be able to release it within the next couple of weeks.
