Linking to popup?

    Hey everyone.

    Great plugin, thanks for your time, effort, and consideration. We all appreciate it.

    I’m having a small problem. I set up some adverts on my homepage. Such as……”X is coming out soon, on Y date, click here to be notified first”

    I want these ads to link to the LeadIn pop-up email submit. I can’t figure out how. So when someone clicks it they will be redirected to the email submit pop-up that LeadIn provides.

    Help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    At the moment it is not possible to trigger the popup in this way, based on clicking on an element, but it is something we are looking into adding possibly in the future.

    In the meantime though there are a bunch of form plugins that Leadin should be able to automatically track form submissions on, and what you are looking to achieve may be possible in one of them. You can see the list of supported form plugins here. This is by no means an exhaustive list, there may be more, these are just the ones we have tested and can confirm work.

    Thankyou very much for your reply!

    I’m sorry I’m a little bit slow, you’ll have to bear with me a little.

    So I can link my advert to a form (for example : Contact Form 7) and LeadIn will detect that and add the email to my email list?

    If so; how on earth do I link the two?

    No problem, I’m happy to help!

    So here’s the cool thing, you don’t need to do anything to make Leadin and Contact Form 7 to connect to each other. The way Leadin is built, it will automatically track and log submissions on any form on your site, not just Leadin forms, and there is no configuration needed. Leadin just needs to be switched on ??

    Give it a shot and let me know if there is any trouble with it. Leadin should automatically work with most forms, and Contact Form 7 is one we have tested and know works well.
