linking within a blog

  • hi, what i want to know is currently when i want to link within my own blog i open two windows, one has the post i’m working on the other has my archive when i want to add a link to a post i did say last week, i do it the long way i’m sure of it, i find the old post copy the entire url and enter it in the new post via the quicktags link… is there an easier way to link between posts? i think id number has something to do with it but no matter what i’ve tried i end up with a 404

    hope that didn’t come out sounding weird and i did search before posting so sorry if this is a double up but i couldn’t find an answer.

    am using wp 1.5

  • That’s exactly how I do it too.
    I also do it when I have forgotten to upload an image first, or when I’ve forgotten to add a new category. Long-winded yes, but it works.

    thanks Podz, was thinking i’d missed something really ruddy obvious .. cheers for the response i’ll stop mucking around trying different things now lol
